These two words sound almost identical, but they couldn’t be any more different.
Worrier – To feel or express a great care or anxiety.
Warrior – A person engaged or experienced in warfare.
The worrier focuses on all the possible problems that could occur. The warrior focuses on how to overcome any potential obstacles that they may face. Worriers tend to give up when the going gets tough, while the warrior believes they can do anything they desire and keep fighting.
If you want to achieve your full potential and gain the best version of yourself, you will have to face tasks that challenge you, it is the only way to grow. A worrier will not challenge themselves and often will steer clear. A warrior looks for challenges as that is where they get inspired.
We are in a time where things are quite tough. There have been many setbacks for everyone, and lots of uncertainty. Worriers will accept their outcomes as permanent. A warrior will let their passion and resilience stand back up and keep fighting. They will not accept defeat. They continue to look to the future as they know what they want, and they will not stop until they achieve it.
Martin Luther King said, “Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.” How do you view your life? Are you a worrier? Or Are you a warrior? Condition yourself to become a tough warrior. Remember, you can do anything you desire if you believe in your abilities to achieve. Now is the time for the warrior in you to step up’
