Be in it for the long run! Health and fitness should be a lifestyle change, and not something that is a short term ‘quick fix’. There is more to health and fitness that the physical aspect of it. It’s also about our mental state, how we feel, our quality of life and our ability to move. When we are in a healthy state, we physically and mentally can do more.
More importantly it can help reduce health conditions and diseases, especially as we get older. Sustaining a healthy lifestyle can literally add years to your life and can have immediate long term health benefits.
Ways to start a healthy lifestyle change could be simply drinking 2-3 litres of water daily. Exercising 3 times a week or even just quitting smoking. Anything that can be bought in your daily or weekly routine that will benefit you mentally and physically, is a big step forward to a healthy and amazing life.
