Life, as we know, loves to test us, loves to challenge us, and throw us the inevitable curve ball. Using the symbol of a curve ball this can refer to anything – injury illness, increased work schedule etc. These curve balls essentially reshape us one way or another.
The curve balls you may face are something you need to learn to overcome and work through. Yes, sometimes we are faced with things we have no control of however there is always going to be that one thing that you can control, for example, when you sleep, what you eat, who you talk to etc. Each and every curve ball you face is an opportunity for you to learn and take the path of personal development. When things get rough you don’t want to find yourself stuck in a physical and emotional rut, because it’s these trenches that are the hardest to rise up from.
Yes, life isn’t perfect but you need to find that silver lining, you need to revert to your ‘Why’- the reason why you wake up every morning, the reason why you do what you each and every day. Is it for your family, friend or even simply for you!! As stated before life isn’t perfect and unfortunately, we will be faced with an inevitable amount of challenges but at the end of the day it’s your choice whether you are going to allow it to hit you or are you going to move out of the way. My question to you is what is your strategy to work through these curve ball especially if you do get hit? How do you overcome this situation?
I may be only be 21 years old but If I have learnt anything it would be that it’s your actions, it’s what you do, in both the good and bad situations, that help transform you into the person you are today. Take control and stop being that back seat driver. Take each and every challenge you can, head on, to protect you and your significant overs. Continuously work on your personal development!!
