Today we celebrate a client who has made some amazing changes not only physically, but also mentally.
Lisa Pretty has been training with Terrific Fitness continuously for 3 years and has had an amazing transformation. Lisa’s personal struggles and injuries have never deterred her from reaching her goals, if anything it makes her more determined.
It has been an absolute pleasure watching Lisa create the best version of herself and I am excited to see what else she has installed after finishing her nutrition coaching.

Here is Lisa’s story in her own words:
“Prior to joining TF I was in a big rut both physically and mentally. Having worked shift work all my life I had become very rigid in my lifestyle which purely consisted of work and sleep with no time set aside for anything else, including myself.
This led to me suffering bouts of depression with anxiety rearing its ugly head resulting in me needing to go on medication. IT WAS TIME FOR CHANGE!
I still work for the same company I just don’t do overnight shifts anymore (too old for that 😉), which means my sleeping patterns are a lot more normal than they were. By joining TF I have made time for myself, exercising and sweating the days’ issues away on a nightly basis. This has resulted in my depression and anxiety symptoms reducing dramatically and I no longer need medication. I still have my bad days, but they are few and far between. 😊
I have continuously trained for 3 years with TF; best decision I have ever made for myself. I’ve had some great BCA (Body Composition Analysis) results with more improvements still to be made.
I have increased my strength, resulting in me being able to push 150kg on the prowler and increase my KB weight up to 12 and 18kg in some instances, really pushing my limits. My confidence and willpower has also improved. I’ve also gained some pretty awesome friends, something not everyone has the privilege of doing and I will cherish them for ever.
The Lisa before TF was very work focused and lived quite a mundane life.
Me, now is a completely different person. I do things for myself that make me happy and I try not to sweat the small stuff. I have good days and bad days like everyone, but the good days far outweigh the bad. I’m just enjoying the way physical exercise, good food and being around likeminded people, is making me feel and I hope to continue this lifestyle moving forward. All thanks to TF!!”
