Lisa joined TF in June. Just 4 months later she has evolved so much, really coming out to shine. Her physical transformation is absolutely fantastic, however her mental and emotional transformation deserves far more recognition! Lisa, you have come so far hun! Over these past couple of weeks of Lisa and I working together through the Nutrition Coaching program, I have seen Lisa make incredible changes both nutritionally and personally! I have seen Lisa go above and beyond and invest in her own health and wellbeing, invest in her own personal growth making huge everlasting changes to her diet as can be seen in her transformation, and blossom into the sensation person I know today! Lisa has successfully lost over 5kgs of weight during the program but on top of this brilliant weight loss, she has also embraced her inner strength and come out of her shell, taking control of her life, and doing more then she could ever imagine! I am proud of you Lisa and all that you have achieved. I see your transformation as something far greater than a physical transformation. I see you, standing tall and taking life one step at a time. Here is Lisa’s story in her words:
“I had just moved to South Morang from meadow heights and was not familiar with any gyms or fitness centres so I did a Google search and discovered Terrific Fitness. The Google search also showed me testimonials and by reading them, I felt that they were aligned with my own personal goals and how I view well-being.
I felt that my bad habits were getting away from me especially with another lockdown. My motivation was lacking in all areas, but I knew I wanted to change.
Terrific Fitness gives me a good routine and helps me relieve my stress. The coaches make all the difference – in my experience I always felt cared about and it’s nice to have a community celebrate your wins with you.
My biggest lesson has been Nutrition Coaching with coach Emilia. Learning about what foods my body likes and doesn’t like. With this lesson I can now make better choices for myself and know how to keep symptoms like reflux at bay.
[What challenges have you overcome?] Trying to keep up with someone more advance and being embarrassed to walk into a gym because I don’t know what I’m doing. Coach Emilia asked me if I was ok during a Wildcard workout and I replied ‘I’m trying to keep up’ and she replied ‘you don’t have to keep up, you’re only in competition with yourself’. Wise words
I completed a Nutrition Boot Camp with coach Emilia and that was wonderful. Not only did I lose 5.2kgs but I learnt so much about the rights foods to eat, how much to eat and any intolerances I may have (yes, gluten intolerant).
I’m currently involved in the Healthy Habits Program with Coach Emilia, teaching me how to implement good habits to combat daily stresses, finding ‘me’ time and having a good work / life balance. Currently training two to three times a week with cardio boxing with coach Steve being my favourite session!” – Lisa Delia
