Melody has been with us for a few years and has been through many of our classes and programs we have available within Terrific Fitness. Melody came into the nutrition program wanting to reset her body and mind after suffering an injury that led to some unwanted weight gain. Melody who has once done this program before, knew the 6-week journey we were about to go on would be a challenge, but allowed herself to be open to the process once more to learn and grow, not only physically but mentally as well.
Melody stuck to the plan 100%, asked questions where needed, was open to ideas we presented over the 6-week span to allow her to gain maximum results. Melody was open and honest about the process giving me all the details I required in order to help keep her on the right track and provide her with all information she required. As a result she has had smashing results from Nutrition coaching for the second time!
After 6 weeks (yes with easter thrown in the mix) Melody has lost a total of 11cm around her waist and hips! Alongside that Melody has lost 6.3kg of Body fat and an incredible 7kg of weight! With this Melody has experienced better quality and quantity of sleep (even with nightshift), increased energy levels, less digestive side effects and decreased stress levels!!

“Being a member of Terrific Fitness for a few years now, I originally saw an ad on Facebook and it excited my interest in joining because of their group style training and classes.
Personally, I needed the motivation of a gym style program which wasn’t one on one or independently focused and I struggled with fluctuating weight issues. The Terrific Fitness training model looked ideal to suit this and help me achieve my goals.
The ongoing support of coaches and friendships with other gym members gives it that family feel whenever you walk in the door or chat on Facebook. Having that support both at the gym, face to face with the coaches and at home with other gym members on Facebook or the regular check-ins with the coaches, helps me keep on track towards achieving my goals.
Having experienced inconsistent results with previous fitness programs, Terrific Fitness has helped me lose weight, become physically and mentally stronger and opened my mind to new ways of understanding fitness and health.
Personally, I struggled mentally with the shock of gaining weight again due to an injury after previously losing 15kg with Terrific Fitness. Having the ongoing support of the coaches, I hit back with a second nutrition boot camp to reset my body and mindset. Having just completed my 6-week eating program, I feel a lot better mentally and have noticed the weight dropping again.
I have also suffered from back pain for many years and with the adaptive training and programs provided by the coaches, as a team focused on my fitness and health, we have worked to provide training to meet my goals and health which also assisted with reducing my back pain.
The joy of accomplishment and growth in my self confidence that Terrific Fitness has nurtured and supported is my greatest triumph so far. The headspace that this leaves me in, has me looking forward for the next milestone in achieving my goals.
I currently complete at least 3 sessions a week with the hope to attend more as I grow stronger, both mentally and physically. The wide variety of classes, accompanied with the great coaches and friends help to nurture my enthusiasm to attend.
Nutritionally, I struggled until I attended nutrition boot camp and gained a better understanding of my body and what nutritionally it needs to perform at my best. Now I have the confidence that I can eat healthy without the urge to overindulge, and enjoy meal planning. I am also happy and look forward to treating myself to a maximum of 2 less healthy food options a week to stay on track. This nutrition plan gives me the flexibility to enjoy a wide variety of foods and not feel over restricted like some other meal plans do.” – Melody Trotter
