Alex is one incredible woman! With a martial arts background she possesses drive and passion like no other. From teaching Alex in multiple bodyweight classes, helping her regain correct movement patterns, Alex now works with heavy weights. I have had the absolute pleasure of watching her not only gain strength, but confidence as well. When Alex puts her mind to something she gets it done. She doesn’t only just finish it, she excels in performance and results. From only seeing Alex once or twice a week to now seeing her every second day, Alex is a prime example of ‘you’ll never know if you like it unless you try it’. Alex and I began our PT journey just a few weeks ago. Alex started PT to regain movement. Just a few weeks later Alex has life goals and values we are working towards. I am so honoured to be able to take this journey with her! I am so beyond proud of how far Alex has come and I cannot wait to see how far she goes!

“I was looking for a gym that Mum and I could join that could help us with both weight loss and lifestyle change as we both had many health/physical limitations that stopped us from sticking with other gyms.
I saw the ad for TF on the St Monica’s College Business Connect and thought ‘why not?’
After speaking with Viki and having an in-depth discussion, we both thought that this would be the place for us. Unfortunately, mum had to give up training for personal reasons, but I stayed on as I loved the classes, the coaches and the vibe.
My range of motion and strength has gradually come back. I have gone from doing 1-2 THT classes a week to completing anywhere between 3-4 different classes a week.
I have overcome many physical limitations including limited movement in my knees and issues with my back. With help from the coaches at TF, I have pretty much full range of motion back in my knees and my back is strengthening every day.
Today’s me actually does not mind exercising. Before TF, I would avoid most forms of exercise like the plague but now, I look forward to classes and PT.
I have a massive sweet tooth and the worst eating habits known to man! I would not eat breakfast, maybe eat lunch and dinner was the only sustainable meal. I would snack constantly on anything sweet. Chocolate, biscuits, lollies cake… you name it, I ate it. This did not help with an underactive thyroid and multiple food intolerances, so my exhaustion levels were through the roof. I gained weight, my body would ache, and I would get sugar induced migraines. My bad nutritional habits combined with my aversion to exercise was literally running my body to the ground. When I hit rock bottom, I decided to do Nutritional Bootcamp with Coach Stephen.
During that 6-week program, I found myself having more energy, I no longer had a 3:00pm crash and my body was feeling good. Pairing this with classes at TF, I actually saw my body composition change, my migraines downgrade and many more benefits. I have now taken on the new challenge of Personal Training with Coach Jamie!
