The last few months Viki has shared with us, her story week to week. Here is the next part.
“Driving home from the hospital my brain was in overdrive, how can you reduce stress when you are so stressed about what your doctor just told you, man I just could not catch a break!! So, moving forward I made a list of what I needed to do in case surgery was going to happen. I was going to continue my daily routine and keep up my training, that was the only thing that kept me grounded and no brain of mine or doctor was going to keep me away from it.
I started my medication and things were going great. Training was good and things did not change much. I was just a little tired which was to be expected due to the medication, but I powered through. My MRI was around the corner and I was worried like I always was every time, but this was the only way I would get answers on how to help myself. So heading back to the hospital it was like having shares in the place lol. I walked in and did what I had to do and in the MIR I went and closed my eyes and lay there for an hour with my fingers crossed that all would be fine.”
