Last week I share with you my massive decision to have weight loss surgery. Today I share with you the next stage and how I changed my life.
Stage one was clear liquid food for a couple weeks and that was ok. I was very scared and stuck to it till the 14th day. I didn’t want to risk any complications. So then it was pureed food for the next 14 days, which was funny; l really felt like a baby, but stuck through it and things were progressing nicely.
Finally I started soft foods and worked out what food worked for me what I could digest and so on, and life began to get back to normal. But I had a new problem lol; my clothes were becoming too big week by week. A year on and I had lost 45kg and was super pumped. But I needed to work on strengthening my new body. I had a couple of trainers and was happy with my progress, but I needed more. Something was missing. I had goals, a vision of what I wanted, but couldn’t work out what I was doing wrong.
I also started getting a sore back so I decided I needed someone who could help with that and finally found my way to Terrific Fitness. I had a very long phone conversation with Terri and finally commenced my PT training with her. Our first session was nutting down my goals. It wasn’t about numbers on the scale, it was how I wanted to feel and look when I looked in the mirror. I wanted to love myself again and so the transformation begun. But little did we know what was to come our way … stay tuned to her all about it next week.
