The last few months Viki has shared with us, her story week to week. Here is the next part.
“… in walks a remarkably familiar face, my doctor. All the questions began. I was trying to explain how I felt; I was in so much pain it was unbearable. First on the list was an MRI just to see what was going on and we would take it from there. Off to radiology I went and had it done but at this stage it was late, and I wouldn’t find out my results until the morning. Obviously, it was not anything to serious or they would have said something, so I tried to get some rest. It was not the best sleeping on your back and having back issues. But I managed to close my eyes and woke up the next morning feeling a little better, but still very sore and stiff. Just before lunch, my Doctor arrived and gave me the rundown of my results. Nothing going on in my brain thank God! My doctor pointed out that I have suspected Carpal Tunnel in both arms, and I would need further testing to see how bad and if I would need any surgery. That was a relief that it was only that, but then thinking more about it how was this going to affect my training???”
