The last few months Viki has shared with us, her story week to week. Here is the next part.
“Fast forward to 2020, we started the year off amazingly, had a great Christmas holiday, school started, hubby and oldest son settled into work and things were great. Until March. Our last get away for labour day happened and then BANG, we were in lock down!! ISO-1.
The world just suddenly stopped, schools and businesses closed. What was going on no-one knew. It was super scary to think what lay ahead. In the middle of all the uncertainty I had an appointment with my neurologist for a check-up and things were so scary at the hospital trying to get in was a nightmare.
People were running around like headless chooks. So, in I went for my MRI and I was pretty much pushed out once I was done. I was happy to be out of there and could not get enough sanitizer on me once I was out of there. I drove home and felt very drained and all I wanted to do was go to sleep.
I also had a lot to do as l had a Iso birthday party to plan for my little man, so I was very occupied and not really thinking about anything else. Lucky for me because what lay ahead for me, I never thought I would have to ever go through…”
