The last few months Viki has shared with us, her story week to week. Here is the next part.
“My last Chemo treatment was done, and it was time to have my next MRI to see how things where traveling. I was in good spirits and feeling good. I had been down this road before but still couldn’t help feeling anxious about the results.
This whole process was so hard as I had to make all these trips to the hospital on my own and going in there, I always had to get covid tested. So uncomfortable but was kind of used to it now, it was the new norm.
So went straight in to have my MRI and laid there with the million and one thoughts that always went through my head every time I had these scans. Time was just going so slow this time almost like a stand still. My back was getting sore as I could not lay in this position for long, my whole body was getting antsy. I just wanted to get out at this point.
I heard a voice in my ear saying, “where almost done Viki hang in there”. Finally, the loud noises had stopped, and the bed started to roll out. I was sweating like I had just done a workout. The room started to spin, and I was not feeling all the best. I slowly sat up only to lay back down again, what the hell just happened?”
